Social Sustainability:
Every day in our production department, we handle the composite fibers which allow us to create vehicles with exceptional performance.
But it is another fiber, an intangible one, which over the years has driven us ever-further forwards: the human fiber, made up of the talent, passion, and expertise of everyone who works with us.
Without the daily commitment, creativity and dedication of our workers, we would not be able to aspire to that level of excellence which we have always striven to achieve.
That’s why we have strengthened our commitment to attracting and motivating the best talent, guaranteeing high standards of health and safety, extending training opportunities, and establishing the “Dallara Community”, a structured well-being plan to support our workers and their families.

Attracting the Talent of Today, Cultivating the Talent of Tomorrow
Dallara’s success is based on the ability to attract and grow the best talent, creating a stimulating environment where professionalism comes together with a passion for innovation.
Our strategy is two-fold: on the one hand, we aim to be a hub which attracts qualified professionals already in the area, offering them opportunities for growth in a cutting-edge international context. Consolidated expertise, combined with challenging and technologically advanced projects, allows today’s talent to fully express their potential, contributing to the continuous evolution of the company.
On the other hand, we constantly invest in training and developing the talent of tomorrow through targeted employer branding activities in the local area. We organize training and orientation events in schools, participate in training programs such as ITS Maker Fornovo, and work with the Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna (MUNER). These initiatives represent precious opportunities for direct contact with young talent, and set in motion dialog which can lead them to become part of our organization.

Transforming Competences: Continuous Professional Development at Dallara
At Dallara, the training and development pathway for our employees begins with their first day of work. For production staff, technical and professional training courses start as soon as their second week in the company. For white-collar workers, on the other hand, an on-the-job training program is implemented.
We also believe in the power of lifelong learning and CPD, and the autonomy of our employees in their professional growth paths. That’s why in 2022 we launched Dallara Empowerment, an innovative e-learning platform which offers specific training pathways.
Through this digital tool, our employees can access a wide range of training content, with a particular focus on the corporate values core to Dallara. The platform represents a strategic investment in cultivating internal expertise and strengthening the company culture in an interactive and accessible manner.

Health and Well-Being: an Inclusive and Participative Approach
Our vision is the creation of a company where economic growth goes hand in hand with the personal fulfillment of our workers. Our goal is to create:
- An inclusive and supportive work environment
- A place where employees can feel proud of their work
- A company where individual needs are at the center of the group’s attention
In order to encourage employee well-being, it is essential to listen to and understand their needs and requirements, both inside and outside their working lives. For this reason, in 2021 we carried out an anonymous survey of the company climate, on a voluntary basis, given to all Group personnel.
This survey allowed us to investigate key aspects such as work-related stress, the work context and workload, organizational quality, health and safety, internal relations, change management, and psycho-physical well-being.
The positive reception and participation led us to start a feedback process seeking further information, starting with management before continuing with the operational levels. This allowed us to identify the main areas for improvement alongside our employees.
Over the last few years we have therefore implemented a series of concrete initiatives, including team-building events, improvements in internal communications, and activities to strengthen employees’ sense of belonging.
Health and Safety: Our Certified Management System
Dallara considers worker health and safety to be a key priority of its corporate social responsibility. In order to guarantee safe working conditions, the company has attained certification for its Workplace Health and Safety System (ISO 45001:2018), going beyond mere compliance with mandatory regulations.
This commitment also takes concrete form through information and training activities for personnel, in order to make the work environment ever-more safe and healthy, preparing staff to manage emergencies and spread the culture of safety on a daily basis.
What’s more, Dallara has organized preventive medical visits with specialists such as LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori) for mammograms and thyroid check-ups, as well as dermatological visits.
We work with Avis to promote blood donation, as well as organizing meetings with the company physician and the local health authority to support workers looking to give up smoking.

Employee Well-Being: the #PersonaDallara Project

In early 2023 we created “Comunità Dallara”, a project born of the desire to create an integrated and complete well-being ecosystem for our employees. This initiative goes beyond the traditional concept of company fringe benefits: it is a structured plan which helps our people in significant moments of their lives, supporting them through a holistic approach which combines financial support, continuous training, healthcare, and family support, as well as shared moments.
The project incorporates three key aspects:
Home and family: we believe in protecting and supporting the most personal dimension of our workers and their needs, both individual and family. We offer concrete support to those who wish to put down roots in the area, from the dream of a home of their own to starting a family.
Health and well-being: we put the complete well-being of every #PersonaDallara (Dallara person) and their family members first, with a particular focus on emotional, physical, psychological and social aspects. Our commitment translates into continuous improvement of existing services and identifying new solutions to meet emerging or as-yet unsatisfied needs.
Culture and free time: we consider culture to be a key element not only in personal development, but also a driver for social integration and economic progress. We are committed to ensuring every #PersonaDallara has the opportunity and the responsibility to contribute to “material and spiritual societal progress” through stimulating, attractive and inclusive cultural activities.

Lunch out of the Box
“Lunch out of the Box” is an innovative initiative which turns the lunch break into a moment of inspiration and growth at the Dallara Academy.
This monthly event, open to all #PersoneDallara, offers the opportunity to meet important people from various fields, stimulating creative thinking and opening up new points of view.
Among the illustrious guests who have enhanced these events: Paralympic champion Giulia Ghiretti, who shared her extraordinary story of determination; Formula 1 legend Jean Alesi, who talked about the evolution of motorsport; and Alec Ross, ex advisor to the US Secretary of State, who offered a unique viewpoint on the global dynamics of innovation.

Exploiting Diversity: Dallara’s Commitment to Inclusion and Equal Opportunities
Dallara considers respecting and making the most of diversity within its organization to be a core value. In particular, gender equality is a core principle which has been part of the company culture since its foundation.
Although the automotive and motorsport sector which Dallara operates in has traditionally been male dominated, the company is aware of the importance of promoting equal opportunities and an inclusive work environment for all.
For this reason, Dallara has drawn up a Gender Equality Plan, a structured program of concrete actions covering all aspects of gender equality. The plan’s initiatives focus on three main areas of intervention:
- Work-life balance
- Fight against stereotypes and career equality
- Fighting violence and harassment
In general, the world of work is undergoing significant change, even though the road to equality is still uphill. Women are increasingly entering professional fields which were previously closed off to them, thanks to continuing cultural changes.
Dallara is doing its part to promote these changes, through orientation and information initiatives in schools to attract more female talent, and internal policies aiming to guarantee equal opportunities and an inclusive and respectful work environment.
The goal is to create the conditions to allow all employees to fully express their potential, regardless of gender.
Sustainability Report
Not just a reporting tool, but also an opportunity for dialog with our stakeholders. The goal of our first ESG report is to describe the environmental, social and governance initiatives we have invested in to honor our debt of recognition to the local area.
