Dallara Stradale, the dream of Giampaolo Dallara and the culmination of an experience of almost 50 years of racing by the Emilian racecar constructor, becomes the protagonist of a new eSports championship. All gaming enthusiasts are called to race each other for the opportunity of winning an internship in a technical team at Dallara. Registration is free but donations will be accepted and passed on to the hospitals in Parma and Bergamo, both heavily affected by the Coronavirus emergency.

With this precautionary stop period for all activities on the "real" tracks, significant excitement is being generated on the virtual tracks, where we are trying to keep the passion for motorsport alive! The Dallara group has decided, in partnership with AK Informatica, to create an Esports championship to select new talents to be included in its staff and start a fundraiser where everyone can contribute.
The Dallara Esports Championship is an initiative conceived together with AK Informatica, an IT and technology services vendor based in Bergamo, Italy, which specializes in Gaming and Esports services. The top three drivers will be selected over 5 races on international circuits such as Mugello, Imola, Brands Hatch and Spa-Francorchamps and will be offered a work experience opportunity in Dallara. Participation is free, however all participants are asked to use the online platform to make a donation to the fundraiser, prepared by Dallara and AK informatica, in support of the Parma University Hospital and ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII of Bergamo. All races will be held on the Assetto Corsa platform, produced by Kunos Simulazioni, a leader in the development of driving simulation software, and will be broadcast on the social media channels of both companies along with commentary. During the competition, it will be possible for everyone to make a donation to support the two hospitals that have been severely affected by the ongoing health emergency.
"Dallara has long contributed to the evolution of eSports by supplying the mathematical models of the cars we have developed: we started in 2012 by supplying iRacing with the Indycar DW12 car, and then continued with F2, F3, WEC and of course the Bugatti Vision, a car produced specifically for the virtual world by GT Sport. Motorsport has been in Dallara's DNA since its inception along with the continous search for new challenges. In this critical moment of history, where sports competitions worldwide are prohibited, we wanted to bring Dallara to the online races with this new project. It is a way for Dallara to bring our knowlege and skills to the world of professional video games, with particular attention focussed on the new generation of gamers and their interests. We are therefore very happy to undertake this fascinating new Dallara Stradale adventure with a partner that we consider competent and innovative like AK Informatica.” Andrea Pontremoli, Dallara Group CEO & General Manager.
"We are honored to work alongside Dallara Group with this, their first entry into the world of eSports. It will be a championship in search of fun in this difficult period, a championship that binds us in the spirit that we have for motorsport and electronic games. A spirit in which we also share a common interest in pursuing ongoing  research and development in our respective fields. A continuous evolution that, day after day, aims to improve the experience and entertainment for the public. Thanks Dallara Group for your trust, we hope to run a thousand more championships together!"- Alessio Cicolari, CEO of AK Informatica.
