A vertically integrated manufacturing architecture, distributed across Italy and the United States, and designed to meet the most sophisticated needs and requirements of the Automotive, Aerospace and Racing sectors.
Dallara’s infrastructure combines cutting-edge production technologies with processes certified to the strictest standards of each sector.
Network of specialized excellences
With its Indianapolis, Varano, and Collecchio plants, Dallara’s multisite structure represents a system where each facility operates as a specialized center of excellence.
A strategy which guarantees:
- Physical and operational separation of projects with dedicated teams and restricted areas to ensure the highest levels of confidentiality and protection of clients’ intellectual property
- Optimization of processes through specialization by distinctive technologies and competences
- Operational redundancy and scalability to guarantee continuity of service and management of peaks in demand
- Accelerated time-to-market thanks to geographical proximity to the main markets and ability to operate in complementary time zones
It is an approach which goes beyond simple regulatory compliance, positioning Dallara as a strategic partner for those who require not only excellence in manufacturing, but also the need to operate in the most complex regulatory frameworks and with the highest confidentiality in the global industrial landscape.
This operational philosophy takes concrete shape in three strategic production hubs, each with distinct competences and dedicated infrastructure:
Dallara headquarters
Varano de’ Melegari

Dallara’s R&D, design and production activities are concentrated in Varano de’ Melegari near Parma, northern Italy.
The structure hosts the management offices and the engineering laboratories equipped with infrastructure for dynamic simulation, validation of components and systems, structural and aerodynamic testing.
The headquarters also hosts the Dallara Academy, a multi-functional space dedicated to technical training and scientific popularization. It is a space which represents the connection between the company, the local area, and the new generations of talent.

Fabbrica Dallara
Varano de’ Melegari

Located in the building which housed the company’s first headquarters in 1972, today Fabbrica Dallara is the heart of the Stradale’s assembly. In 2017 the plant was completely renovated and expanded to house another highly specialized production line.
Organized into five stations, a rare configuration for this type of vehicle, the line allows for precise control over each phase: from integration of the composite chassis to calibration of the set-up, right through to final finishing. Each vehicle is made to order, with a high level of customization, and undergoes dynamic and functional tests before delivery.
